Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution
- Indiana Speech-Language Pathology license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, or as required by the district
- Comprehensive understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders, plus evidence-based therapeutic strategies
- Familiarity with IDEA, Indiana Article 7, and special education frameworks such as MTSS/RTI
- Strong skills in assessment, therapy planning, collaboration, communication, and documentation
- Ability to effectively support students across preschool through high school
- School-based SLP experience is an advantage, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and diagnostic evaluations for referred students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, track progress, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to recommend strategies and accommodations
- Provide classroom and family consultation and training regarding communication needs and interventions
- Participate actively in IEP, Case Conference Committee, and multidisciplinary meetings
- Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal education regulations
- Offer services across multiple school sites as needed
- Support both general and special education settings
