Travel School Speech and Language Pathologist | Port Saint Lucie, Florida
Provide speech-language therapy services in a dynamic school setting along the Southeast Florida Coast, serving students during the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time travel opportunity involves working onsite in Port Saint Lucie, FL, and supporting 1-2 schools depending on assignment. The caseload includes school-age children, with openings across seven positions for certified speech-language pathologists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language pathology services to students in compliance with state and federal educational guidelines
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress for diverse student needs
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and complete required reporting
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
- Adhere to all credentialing and safety requirements for school-based services
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP license in Florida is required
- Credentialed CCC-SLPs are preferred; CF-SLPs may be considered with appropriate supervision arrangements
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings is strongly desired
- Ability to pass fingerprint background checks (may be pulled from Department of Health if applicable)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to travel and work onsite in designated schools
