Key Qualifications:
- Valid Washington Occupational Therapist License (required)
- ESA Certification (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience in pediatric therapy, with a preference for previous school-based settings
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and tools
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and consultations for students in grades K–12
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Deliver services via both in-person and teletherapy sessions, adapting methods to best serve students
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and relevant training as required
