Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply
- Previous experience in an educational setting or with high school-aged students is beneficial
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assessment, intervention, and therapy to high school students to address communication, articulation, language, and social/pragmatic needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation for evaluations, progress, and compliance
- Communicate progress and strategies to teachers, staff, and families
- Attend relevant school meetings and contribute to the student support planning process
Available Schedules:
- 2 days per week (16 hours total) at the high school level
- 3 days per week (24 hours total) at the high school level
