Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Pompano Beach, FL
A Speech Language Pathologist is needed to provide specialized support within multiple school settings in Palm Beach County, FL. This full-time, on-site contract role involves working with students across a range of age groups and special needs, including regular education, PreK, ASD, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, and InD programs. Assignments vary by location, with caseloads tailored to student populations at each site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in diverse educational settings following individualized education plans.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student communication needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports compliant with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as required.
- Ensure compliance with all credentialing, fingerprinting, and district requirements to maintain eligibility for onsite access.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the Department of Health.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children and diverse caseloads including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other special populations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required fingerprint clearance and district identification badges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Location and Schedule:
- Work at multiple school sites within Palm Beach County, FL, including West Palm Beach and surrounding areas.
- Full-time position with approximately 35 hours per week (7 hours daily).
- Contract term starts ASAP with an end date of 5/29/26.
