Position Overview:

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026–2027 school year. This onsite opportunity involves providing direct speech and language services to elementary students in a supportive school-based setting. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students across a variety of exceptionalities and communication needs.

Work Schedule:

* 2026–2027 school year
* August 24, 2026 – June 8, 2027
* Full-time or part-time opportunities available
* Onsite services only

Compensation & Benefits:

* $45-60 per hour based on experience and qualifications

Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:

* Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and cognitive-communication disabilities
* Provide therapy services for students with communication needs ranging from articulation delays to non-verbal communication support
* Utilize and support augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices as needed
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary professionals
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress
* Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
* Stay current with research and best practices in speech-language pathology

Requirements:

* Certified Speech-Language Pathologist OR
* Speech and Hearing Clinician Certificate K–12 (293)
* Experience working with students across exceptionalities
* Familiarity and comfort with augmentative communication devices
* Strong understanding of a variety of communication disorders

Qualifications:

* Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
* Active Maine state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
* ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
