Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Sanford, ME

Both roles follow a dynamic 3:1 model—spend three weeks on direct instruction with your students and then one week focused on assessments and evaluations, creating a balanced and engaging workflow.
Start your assignment on August 31, 2026, and continue making a difference through June 15, 2027. With a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours, five days a week, you’ll provide services to a manageable caseload of approximately 40–45 students. This flexible structure ensures you have designated time for both therapy and documentation/evaluation, enhancing your effectiveness and satisfaction.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active SLP license issued by the state of Maine
- CCC-SLP credential or Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates welcome
- Background in school-based or pediatric therapy strongly valued
- Experience with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with diverse school teams
- Adaptability to work with various age groups (Pre-K, elementary, grades 5–6)
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services utilizing the 3:1 model
- Conduct thorough student assessments and contribute to IEP development
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families
- Maintain meticulous records, data, and progress monitoring
- Participate in meetings and contribute to supportive school culture
