Your expertise in school-based speech-language services, whether in person or virtually, will help unlock potential in children of diverse backgrounds. As part of this role, you will manage a caseload of elementary students and collaborate closely with educators and families to deliver comprehensive support.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Maine SLP license required
- CCC Certification strongly preferred
- Background in pediatrics or school-based settings a plus
- Experience in healthcare, schools, teletherapy, or clinical fellowship welcomed
- Ability to work with K-12 age ranges, with a focus on elementary students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct assessments, maintain progress documentation, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Engage in consultation and collaboration with teachers, support staff, and families
- Adapt and deliver interventions across a variety of service delivery models, including teletherapy
