Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active state license to practice as an SLP
- Knowledge of assessment strategies, IEP development, and therapy implementation in school environments
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to work with diverse caseloads
- Previous school-based experience is a plus but not mandatory
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines
- Provide ongoing therapy services and monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
For eligible travel professionals, weekly tax-free stipends for lodging and meals are included, enhancing your contract experience. Pay varies by district and experience, with hourly rates ranging from $43.52 to $50.77.
