Teletherapy (voco) may be considered exclusively for this short-term need, offering additional flexibility.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing and diagnosing communication disorders among K-12 students
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Conducting both direct therapy sessions and consultative services
- Maintaining accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and district policies
- Participating in IEP meetings and ongoing team collaboration
Ideal candidates will have:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Massachusetts SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Prior experience working in a school-based setting (K-12 caseload)
- Proficiency in telepractice platforms or willingness to learn for voco assignments
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
