Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Piqua, Ohio
Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Bradford, OH area. This contract opportunity begins 8/28/26 and focuses on part-time leave coverage, with a manageable schedule of three days per week from 7:50 am to 3:15 pm. You'll provide services to a diverse caseload of PreK through 9th grade students, collaborating with educators and families to help every child find their voice and succeed in the classroom.
Candidates should bring expertise across various SLP settings, including experience or training in pediatrics, schools, clinical fellowships (CFY), and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Ohio state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Ohio teaching certification
- Experience in school-based pediatric settings preferred, but welcome CFY candidates as well
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to students in grades PreK–9th, both individually and in groups
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans addressing a variety of speech-language needs
- Document progress, update student records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and support staff to foster student development
- Maintain compliance with all relevant state and federal protocols
