Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license (Ohio) or eligibility to obtain
- Experience or strong interest working with school-aged children (pediatrics)
- Candidates with CCC or those pursuing CFY are both encouraged
- Solid knowledge of evidence-based therapy practices
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to adapt interventions to support diverse needs within the school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and targeted treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct therapy sessions (individual and group) in accordance with students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate and consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of services, evaluations, and outcomes
- Participate in relevant school meetings, team conferences, and professional development opportunities
