School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Step into a rewarding role supporting middle and high school students as a valued Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting located near Philadelphia, PA. This is a full-time, onsite contract position with a 35-hour work week, running from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027. You’ll work closely with a diverse student population, providing essential speech-language services in collaboration with dedicated school staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC certification required
- Prior experience providing speech-language services within a school setting
- Familiarity with middle and high school caseloads preferred
- Demonstrated ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances prior to start
- Prior experience working in an urban educational environment
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required due to set work hours (between 7:15 AM and 4:00 PM)
- Must be able to work exclusively onsite—no remote or virtual accommodations
- Comfort with general SLP duties, including evaluation, IEP participation, direct therapy, consultation, and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and address speech, language, and communication needs of students in middle and high school
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and related documentation
- Contribute to IEP meetings and work as part of the school’s support team
- Maintain thorough and timely records in compliance with state and district guidelines
