Qualifications & Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Sciences
- Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience with pediatric populations, particularly within educational settings
- Strong skills in teletherapy service delivery as well as onsite therapy
- Ability to tailor interventions for various student needs and IEP goals
- Collaborative mindset for working with educators, support staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy and evaluations to students on your caseload
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to eligibility or review meetings
- Utilize current evidence-based techniques for both in-person and teletherapy platforms
- Communicate effectively with caregivers and multidisciplinary teams
- Support students’ communication, academic, and social success within the school environment
