Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid and active state licensure for Texas
- Experience with school-based SLP services strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills, with cultural competence to support both monolingual and bilingual students
- Passion for fostering a positive, supportive learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students, tracking progress and adjusting interventions as needed
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success and advocate for speech/language services
- Provide consultation and resources for supporting students’ communication development in both English and bilingual contexts
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and district standards
