Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid SLP - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA
- Current, active license to practice as an SLP in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience within school settings preferred
- Confidence supporting both monolingual and bilingual caseloads
- Collaborative mindset and superb interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Deliver speech and language therapy to monolingual and bilingual students according to their IEPs
- Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Document progress, prepare reports, and maintain accurate student records
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for program planning
- Use current therapy techniques and culturally responsive practices
