Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply
- Active state licensure as required for Texas
- Previous experience working in school settings is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in varying grade levels
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) focused on measurable outcomes
- Deliver evidence-based direct therapy services tailored to student needs
- Maintain accurate case records, progress reports, and intervention logs in accordance with school policies
- Collaborate with educational teams to integrate therapy strategies into classroom activities
- Consult with parents and staff, providing education and resources as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
