Contract Details:
- School year: August 4, 2026, through May 21, 2027
- New staff training: July 27, 2026
- Full-time hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Preschool caseload: 40-50 students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure for practice in educational settings
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working with children in school environments, particularly at the preschool level
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to handle documentation and IEP development efficiently
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to preschool-aged students
- Conduct assessments to determine student needs and document findings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and professional development as assigned
- Maintain organized and timely records in compliance with state and district guidelines
