Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification highly desired
  • Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license with Special Services endorsement, or eligibility to obtain
  • Prior experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

  • Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs
  • Solid background in performing assessments and progress monitoring
  • Understanding of MTSS and knowledge of school-based speech-language service models
  • Ability to foster trusting relationships with students, families, and colleagues
  • Adaptable and student-centered approach with a keen focus on solutions

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language services to K-12 students in accordance with IEPs and multi-tiered support systems
  • Assess, diagnose, and document student speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop evidence-based, individualized goals and interventions
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure consistent, quality service delivery
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and maintain timely, thorough documentation of student progress
