School Speech Language Pathologist - Petaluma, CA

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) from ASHA
- California SLP licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and compliance documentation
- Ability to foster positive rapport with students, teachers, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Conduct speech and language assessments, track progress, and prepare evaluation reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on student goals and accommodations
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
- Maintain accurate, thorough records in accordance with school and state requirements
- Offer guidance and resources for families and classroom staff to promote communication skills in the school environment
