The assignment runs from ASAP through June 10, 2027, and will be based entirely onsite.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Active and current California SLP license (CCC credential required)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Comfortable managing a diverse elementary and middle school caseload
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- No consideration for SLPAs; must be SLP with certifications as requested
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop reports, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Collaborate on intervention plans with school teams and families
- Monitor and document progress, maintaining compliance with all state and district regulations
- Travel between two local sites as required, adapting services to support various age groups
- Communicate regularly with teachers and administrators regarding student progress
