Located near Perrysburg, OH, this role focuses on providing high-quality speech and language services in an educational setting.
This position is structured as a 5-day workweek, totaling 28 hours per week. You will have the chance to make a meaningful impact by working directly with a caseload of 38 students, assisting them in overcoming communication challenges and supporting their academic progress.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid Ohio SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy to students both individually and in groups
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports for each student
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff
- Provide training and support to teachers and families as needed
