School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Perris, California
Make an impact as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting young learners at an elementary school site. The student population includes both general education participants and children in special day class programs, allowing you to develop and implement individualized interventions that foster real, measurable growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP license or credential
- Experience providing services in school environments, especially at the elementary level
- Strong skills in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders
- Ability to work effectively with general and special education teams
- Solid organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for students, interpreting results to help shape IEP plans
- Develop targeted, evidence-based therapy sessions based on student needs
- Maintain meticulous progress records and report findings in timely IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support educational success
- Contribute strategies and supports for classroom integration
- Support compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations
