A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Peralta, NM. This contract role spans a full semester from November 2025 through May 2026. The position involves serving a caseload primarily consisting of elementary students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to a K-12 caseload of 40-45 students
- Work across 2-3 school sites within the district
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
Qualifications and experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure and certification
- Experience working in school-based settings with K-12 students, preferably with an elementary focus
- Ability to manage a caseload of 40-45 students effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work across multiple sites
Location: Peralta, NM
