Key Qualifications & Experience:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Arizona state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Recent experience in school-based pediatric speech-language therapy
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with diverse student populations
- Comfortable managing a caseload of 50-60 students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with an SLPA, teachers, and families
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practice
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services for students in preschool through 8th grade
- Maintain comprehensive records and progress reports
- Supervise and support an SLPA in delivering therapy
- Consult with teachers, families, and related service providers to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements for school-based therapy
