As an SLP working on-site in a school-based environment, you’ll have the chance to collaborate with dedicated professionals, experience different approaches to student support, and enhance your clinical expertise in an elementary setting. Qualifications:
- Active SLP license and related certifications (CCC required; IVP fingerprint card not required)
- Experience in school settings, particularly elementary, is highly desired
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 45 students
- Comfortable working full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities
- Flexibility for “prescreen” interviews between 9-11am or 2-3pm EST
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and therapy for elementary students
- Develop and implement IEPs in partnership with teachers and parents
- Track and document student progress and ongoing needs
- Engage in multidisciplinary meetings and team collaboration
- Travel between assigned schools within the district as needed
