Speech Language Pathologist in Penfield, NY

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) acceptance
- Prior experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
- In-depth knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and therapy documentation
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-focused environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address student needs
- Maintain IEP documentation and participate in meetings with educational teams and families
- Provide direct and consultative services in both individual and group formats
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student backgrounds and learning styles
