Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Pinson, AL

Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also welcome
- Valid state licensure or eligibility
- Strong pediatric background with experience in school settings
- Familiarity with IEP development and delivery
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and technology
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students from diverse backgrounds
- Develop tailored treatment plans and write comprehensive IEPs
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other school professionals to advocate for student needs
- Provide both individual and group therapy onsite or through teletherapy as assigned
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input to multidisciplinary teams
