Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) for Rhode Island
  • Prior experience in school-based settings highly preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Willingness to work in-person for the duration of the assignment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders within a diverse student population
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to foster student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with state and school requirements
  • Adapt caseload management based on school needs as determined through interview discussion
