Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) for Rhode Island
- Prior experience in school-based settings highly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Willingness to work in-person for the duration of the assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders within a diverse student population
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to foster student progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with state and school requirements
- Adapt caseload management based on school needs as determined through interview discussion
