Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP licensure or eligibility in the state
- CCC or CFY candidates considered
- Experience with school-based speech therapy preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Knowledge of IEP development, assessment, and documentation processes
- Ability to travel between school sites as needed
Role Overview:
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive speech/language evaluations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for a variety of ability levels
- Deliver direct therapy to students, adapting methods to individual needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff
- Consult on interventions and monitor progress toward IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Serve as an advocate for students’ communication needs
You’ll work a set weekly schedule—Monday through Friday (37-40 hours)—providing services across several school settings in the Pageland, Chesterfield, Cheraw, Jefferson, or McBee areas.
