Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Completion or candidacy for CFY or possession of CCC-SLP certification
- Eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working with school-age children preferred
- Proficiency in conducting speech-language screenings and evaluations
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to eligible students (ages 3K-12th grade)
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations to support eligibility decisions
- Develop and maintain IEPs in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents for student success
- Provide input and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress
- Cover assigned sites as needed within the designated attendance areas
