Qualifications:
- Valid and active SLP license for New Jersey.
- Strong knowledge of assessment and intervention for speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Experience working in school-based environments is preferred.
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the diverse needs of elementary, middle, and high school students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
- Comfortable collaborating in a multidisciplinary team setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, assess communication skills, and determine student eligibility for services.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs.
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
- Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student-specific educational plans.
- Collaborate with faculty, administration, and families to maximize student success and promote generalization of skills.
