Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and unrestricted New Jersey SLP licensure required
- Previous experience within a school environment is highly desired
- Ability to work effectively across elementary, middle, and high school caseloads
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and identify students’ speech and language needs using standardized tools and classroom observations
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals aligned with students’ academic curricula
- Implement evidence-based speech-language interventions, both one-on-one and in group settings
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive student support
- Maintain detailed documentation on student progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Offer ongoing guidance and resources to teachers and caregivers for carryover of strategies into the classroom and home
