Elementary High School School Speech Language Pathologist - Highland Park, NJ

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active New Jersey SLP licensure required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, administrators, and families

- Familiarity with a range of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies
- Capacity to manage caseloads across diverse grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students from elementary through high school
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations, documenting findings and recommendations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Consult with classroom teachers and other professionals to integrate supportive strategies into daily instruction
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with state and district policies
- Engage in progress monitoring and ongoing assessment to adapt and refine therapy approaches
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student goals, progress, and strategies for continued success
