This contract role offers flexibility, allowing you to work 3–4 days per week—with the possibility to increase to 5 days if desired. You’ll be supporting approximately 60–65 students, collaborating closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized interventions that help students find their voice and thrive in their academic environments.
What You'll Need:
- Current SLP license in New Jersey
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience or interest in working across K–12 grade levels
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Ability to manage a multi-site caseload efficiently
- Passion for fostering student growth both academically and socially
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy
- Develop IEP goals in partnership with educational staff and families
- Adapt therapy to support a wide range of student needs
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and special education staff
- Engage with caregivers to support skills generalization at home
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and school-based teams
