Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC)
- Valid state licensure for speech therapy practice
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to create a supportive, engaging learning atmosphere for students with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a range of speech, language, and communication disorders among school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs and goals
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to monitor progress and optimize student outcomes
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation in accordance with school policy and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development sessions as needed
- Foster student confidence and communication growth through innovative, evidence-based therapeutic techniques
