Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Valid state licensure and current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Proven experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in school environments
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs, conducting assessments, and managing caseloads
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote intervention strategies
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Professional, compassionate communication with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop individualized treatment goals and deliver evidence-based therapy, both in-person and via teletherapy when needed
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date progress notes, report cards, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, support teams, and parents or guardians
- Provide resources and strategies to help staff and families support each student’s communication growth
- Stay current with best practices in the field and adhere to district policies and procedures
