School-Based SLP | Sicklerville, New Jersey
Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students in a dynamic school environment. We're seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials to cover a maternity leave from now through late spring. This is a full-time opportunity, where you'll split your week between two Marlton locations. Work hours are 8:30am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, offering a steady daytime schedule.
In this position, you'll work with higher-functioning students on the Autistic spectrum at both Marlton Middle School and DeMasi School. Your day will involve one-on-one 30-minute sessions with approximately 6-7 students, allowing you to focus on providing targeted support and making a meaningful difference. Additional time is built into your schedule for planning, writing progress notes, and composing goals and objectives for IEPs.
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license and CCC certification
- Experience supporting students on the Autism spectrum, preferably in school settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a split schedule across two nearby locations
- Comfortable with IEP documentation and progress reporting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students, focusing on developing their communicative abilities
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support each student’s learning goals
- Maintain detailed progress notes and contribute to IEP planning
- Plan engaging and effective therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Communicate regularly with staff and families regarding student progress
