Step into a contract position running from June 29 through July 30, Monday through Thursday, 8:30am-12:30pm, with an extended opportunity covering a maternity leave from September 8 to October 20, Monday through Friday, 9am-3pm. The caseload consists of 25 students, primarily preschool-aged (3-8 years), including those in self-contained classes and children with multiple disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and preschool disabilities.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure and ASHA CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates considered
- Experience with pediatric, school-based, and healthcare settings strongly preferred
- Comfort and skill working with diverse student needs, including ASD and developmental disabilities
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Strong commitment to supporting early childhood development
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with varying speech and language needs
- Deliver direct therapy sessions in both individual and small-group settings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to optimize student support
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and required reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and support goal-setting for student achievement
