Blazerjobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based contract position with a local school district in Manassas, VA for the 2026–2027 school year. Position Details
• Employment Type: Full-time, Contract
• Schedule: 35 hours per week
• Student Range: K–12th grade
• Duration: August 24th, 2026 – June 12th, 2027
Responsibilities
• Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations and diagnose impairments
• Develop and implement individualized intervention programs for students
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and school support teams
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records per district and state requirements
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and multidisciplinary team members
Qualifications
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
• Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• SLP-CFY candidates and SLPAs are encouraged to apply
