School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Pasadena, Texas

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with educational standards
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups
- Provide consultative support and training to teachers and parents
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation for student progress and compliance
- Educate and empower students as they work toward their goals
