Speech Language Pathologist in Humble, TX

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Active state licensure for speech-language pathology or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and maintain thorough records
- Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and other professionals
- Effective oral and written communication
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students as identified in their IEPs
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and ensure compliance with educational standards
- Offer guidance and strategies to teachers and parents to reinforce communication goals in the classroom and at home
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, evaluations, and service logs
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
