Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible Nebraska state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC or CFY considered)
- Understanding of school-based therapy practices and IEP development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
- Experience with diverse student populations and varying speech/language needs
- Ability to organize time, manage a moderate caseload, and document services effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students across grade levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy to students with articulation, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, families, and other support staff to facilitate student success
- Maintain accurate records in line with state and school district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities
- Foster a positive, encouraging therapy environment that promotes student growth
