Based in Palmdale, CA, this contract position offers full-time hours providing therapy services to K-6th grade students with moderate to severe caseloads. The role focuses solely on on-site work at one school location, enabling focused intervention and collaboration with two other full-time therapists on campus.
Position Details:
- Start date: March, continuing through the end of the current school year in June, with options to work through the summer and the next school year via contract renewal.
- Work hours: Typically begin between 7:30 and 8:00 AM, concluding between 2:45 and 3:45 PM.
- Schedule: Full-time, up to 40 hours per week.
- Caseload: Moderate to severe pediatric students, K-6th grade.
- Team: Collaborate with two other full-time therapists on-site.
- Interview process: Conducted via Zoom, Monday through Friday.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid California state licensure/certification as an SLP or credentials as an SLPA.
- Experience working in pediatric school-based settings.
- Familiarity with teletherapy a plus, but role is primarily on-site.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
