This opportunity is designed for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with experience in pediatric settings, especially within school environments. Based in Palmdale, CA, this contract position offers full-time hours providing therapy services to K-6th grade students with moderate to severe caseloads. The role focuses solely on on-site work at one school location, enabling focused intervention and collaboration with two other full-time therapists on campus.

Position Details:

  • Start date: March, continuing through the end of the current school year in June, with options to work through the summer and the next school year via contract renewal.
  • Work hours: Typically begin between 7:30 and 8:00 AM, concluding between 2:45 and 3:45 PM.
  • Schedule: Full-time, up to 40 hours per week.
  • Caseload: Moderate to severe pediatric students, K-6th grade.
  • Team: Collaborate with two other full-time therapists on-site.
  • Interview process: Conducted via Zoom, Monday through Friday.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid California state licensure/certification as an SLP or credentials as an SLPA.
  • Experience working in pediatric school-based settings.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy a plus, but role is primarily on-site.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
