What You’ll Bring:
- Current, active Florida SLP license
- Experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Willingness to complete district-specific fingerprinting/background checks (can utilize AHCA clearinghouse if previously completed)
- Commitment to on-site presence, including initial onboarding and badge pickup
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver speech-language services to students in grades PK–8 (caseload and age group vary per school/assignment)
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and provide direct and consultative therapy
- Document progress and collaborate with teachers, families, and other SLPs (as assigned)
- Work at 1-2 campuses per assignment in either Port Saint Lucie or Fort Pierce—locations include Tradition Lakes (4th–8th), Manatee K–8, C.A. Moore K–8 (PK–8 resource therapy), and White City Elementary (excludes Pre-K/self-contained)
- Engage as the sole SLP or as part of a supportive team, depending on site
- Manage a part- or full-time schedule: part-time options are 14–21 hours weekly, with two positions combinable for 35 hours full-time
