School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Stuart, Florida
This full-time contract opportunity is designed for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with a passion for supporting students’ communication development in a school setting. Located in Stuart, Florida, this role serves schools along the Southeast Florida Coast, providing a rewarding environment for delivering specialized speech and language services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students across assigned schools (1-2 locations based on assignment)
- Manage caseloads comprising a diverse age range of students requiring speech-language support
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans
- Maintain documentation and comply with district and state regulations regarding therapy services
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP licensure required
- Preference for candidates holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Candidates with Clinical Fellowship (CF-SLP) status may also apply, with potential for agency-provided supervision depending on the school site
- Previous school experience is valued but not mandatory; new professionals with 0-2 years of experience are encouraged to apply
- Ability to complete necessary fingerprinting clearance, with the possibility of coordination through the Department of Health
Position Details:
- Start Date: August 10, 2026
- End Date: May 28, 2027
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, full-time
- Contract: Onsite only in Stuart, FL at schools within the district
- Caseload: Assignments will vary, with approximately 7 open positions across the district for the 2026-2027 school year
