Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university
- Valid SLP license in the state of Florida
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, with comfort supporting students in elementary, middle, and high school
- Strong understanding of IEP documentation, goal setting, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive, and supportive environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Work collaboratively with educators, families, and related service providers to support educational and developmental goals
- Conduct assessments, analyze results, and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and required reports in accordance with district and state expectations
- Offer guidance, resources, and support to parents and teachers to optimize student outcomes
