Position Overview

Key Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution
- Valid SLP state license (or eligibility for licensure in Florida)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Prior experience working in educational settings with diverse student populations
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for helping children reach their fullest communication potential
Primary Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students with a range of communication challenges
- Develop and implement therapy plans targeting speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Monitor and document student progress; update goals as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student needs and integrate effective strategies into the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
