Speech Language Pathologist in Palatine, IL

Enjoy the structure and collaboration of a school-based SLP position, working with a manageable caseload of 9 students. New hire orientation is scheduled for August 12th through 14th, with tentatively set dates for the academic year. This position is onsite only, ensuring you can fully engage with students, staff, and families.
Required Qualifications:
- Hold an active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license (submit screenshot upon application)
- Possess a current PEL (Professional Educator License) for Illinois (submit screenshot upon application)
- Completion of or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship strongly preferred; strong CFs are encouraged to apply
- Experience or interest in working with K-2 students within a school setting
- SLP-CCC credential is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to a K-2 caseload
- Develop and implement therapy plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Conduct necessary evaluations and document progress according to district and state standards
- Attend orientation and integrate into a multidisciplinary team environment
