School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Oxnard, CA
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school team in Oxnard for the 2026–2027 school year. This role focuses on helping students develop critical communication skills that support academic success and social-emotional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations for students with suspected communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Utilize evidence-based practices and data-driven decision-making
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFs encouraged to apply)
- Experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
